WHAT IS GREEN VILLAGE LEFKARA?

 

The Green Village Lefkara Shop offers traditional 1950s fashion, vintage and second hand clothing as well as The Lefkaritika Collection (locally hand embroided linen clothing).

Between 2009-2015, a group of countries (Bulgaria, Cyrpus, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, United Kingdom) focused on the Cypriot villages of Kato Drys, Kato Lefkara and Pano Lefkara. They were concerned with sustainable fashion, using local skills and materials, modern design and the creation of small local and rural businesses.

​

 

Following on from this project the Green Village Lefkara Shop was created and opened its doors in June this year, 2016.
